The anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots that have dominated the city of Los Angeles for the past week have been nothing in the realm of peaceful or civil, unlike what the liberal mainstream media and congressional Democrats are gaslighting America into believing.
According to Breitbart, a new poll revealed that a majority of Americans approve of President Donald Trump ordering the National Guard to help quell the situation.
As it would turn out, most reasonable people are very well aware of the dire situation and how bad it really is on the ground.
Trump has taken mountains of both praise and criticism for involving the National Guard and the U.S. military in helping local law enforcement deal with the violent, leftist rioters.
What’s going on?
The poll, conducted by Insider Advantage, clearly shows a majority of Americans support the president’s actions so far in ordering help to the city, which is currently under siege by violent, anti-ICE protesters.
The poll was posted on X, and revealed an overwhelming support of Trump deploying the National Guard to the area.

Breitbart noted:
A recent CNN poll also showed that immigrants have dramatically shifted to the right, with a majority trusting Republicans (a 40-point shift) to handle the ongoing immigration crisis over Democrats.
In an effort to allow ICE agents to continue their mission of detaining and deporting illegals in Los Angeles, Trump deployed some 4,000 National Guard members to help law enforcement maintain control.
Breitbart added:
The president has also ordered hundreds of U.S. Marines into the area to help keep the peace. Democrats have condemned the move as an escalation tactic.
Gov. Newsom’s mad
California Gov. Gavin Newsom is most certainly not happy with the troop deployment, and has released a number of statements slamming the Trump administration over its response.
“The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles — not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle. Don’t give them one. Never use violence. Speak out peacefully,” Newsom said.
Too late for that. Violence has been used and destruction is clearly the goal of the rioters.
It’ll be interesting to see what it finally takes for the riots to finally come to an end.
