He still wears that crime like a badge of honor. His only regret? That Marxism wasn’t potent enough to finish the job.

So he found something stronger: Islam.

And he wasn’t alone.

On May 2, 2025, just after evening prayers at the Islamic Association of North Texas (IANT) in Richardson, Texas, Mumit joined fellow convert Imam Rahim Ocasio—a former member of the Young Lords Party—to headline a major indoctrination event titled “From Marxism to Islam: The Revolutionary Road to Allah.”

The event was hosted by Imam Khalid Griggs and Dr. Asif Hirani, and backed by radical Islamic organizations including the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Dallas Chapter, ICNA Council for Social Justice, and MABL (Muslim Alliance for Black Lives).

But ICNA isn’t just a local charity with a pretty logo. It’s the U.S. arm of Jamaat-e-Islami, a South Asian Sunni movement with a clear mission: the worldwide establishment of Islamic rule. Formed in 1968 and incorporated in 1987 in New York, ICNA openly declares its goal is “to achieve the pleasure of Allah through the establishment of the Islamic system in this land.” In plain English: Islamic supremacy, not peaceful coexistence.

This wasn’t a lecture. It was a declaration of war—ideological, demographic, and spiritual.

He didn’t choose the name “Imam Peace.” He chose Imam Jihad.

That is not insignificant. In fact, it tells you everything. He doesn’t view Islam as a religion in the Western sense. He views it as the ultimate ideological battering ram, a total system of governance and domination with divine authority. Not merely man’s theory of revolution, like Marxism, but God’s blueprint for conquest.

This is not just a spiritual conversion. It’s a tactical realignment.

From Dialectical Materialism to Dialectical Tawheed

Throughout his discussion, Imam Jihad repeatedly frames Islam in Marxist terms—but gives it a divine edge.

• He says oppression equals disbelief.
• He says the central dialectic of existence is not rich vs. poor, but Islam vs. kufr—belief vs. disbelief.
• He says Muslims can only live in America if their intention is to conquer it ideologically. If their goal is assimilation, it’s haram, or forbidden for them to even be here.

This is the rhetoric of warfare, not coexistence.

He explicitly analogizes Islam to a hurricane and says two hurricanes can’t blow at once. Islam and the West cannot coexist. One must destroy the other. “Which storm will prevail?” he asks.

The answer is clear to him: Islam.

But once power was seized, Khomeini’s Islamic revolution turned on its former allies, purging the Marxists by the tens of thousands through executions, imprisonments, and forced disappearances. The left had outlived its usefulness. Sharia replaced socialism.

That same pattern is playing out again, this time in America. Radical leftists chant for “social justice,” while Islamists echo “anti-colonial” slogans. But as Imam Jihad makes clear, Islam does not coexist. It conquers.

Still Waging War – Just With a Different Flag

Nothing in Imam Jihad’s worldview has changed except the banner under which he fights. His core beliefs remain:

• The West is the enemy.
• His commentary implies that he views America as a system that must be dismantled or reshaped under Islamic governance..
• White people are inherently oppressive.
• Zionism and “white supremacy” are interchangeable terms.
• Armed struggle is valid and honorable.
• Class warfare has simply become civilizational warfare.

The Marxist dream of “equality” as they try to sell it has been replaced by the Islamic dream of submission. The revolutionary fantasy of “the people” has been abandoned in favor of “the ummah.” However, the enemy remains the same.

And now he claims to believe Allah commands the war.

Racial Supremacy and Islamic Canon: The Hypocrisy

This is where it gets both laughable and terrifying.

While Imam Jihad rails against white supremacy, he seems unaware or unwilling to admit that Islamic scripture repeatedly emphasizes the whiteness of Mohammad and the inferiority of blacks:

• Mohammad was described as “reddish-white” in multiple Sahih hadiths (Bukhari 3547, Muslim 2330).
• Black dogs are described as devils (Sunan al-Nasa’i 750).
• The Prophet reportedly said to obey even an “Ethiopian slave whose head looks like a raisin” (Bukhari 1:11:662).

These aren’t obscure fringe sources. These are authoritative Islamic texts.

Yet Imam Jihad, like many Western converts, seems to see Islam not for what it is, but for what he wants it to be: a cudgel to smash America with. A sacred vehicle to carry on the revolution. And perhaps he does know. Islam permits taqiyya—lying to non-Muslims to protect Islam and advance its goals. In Imam Jihad’s war, truth is negotiable. Victory is not.

He doesn’t reject the West because of its injustice. His own words suggest he rejects the West not out of injustice, but because he sees Islam as a superior system meant to replace it.

The Real Doctrine of Islam, In His Words

At the 23-minute mark, Imam Jihad admits outright that Muslims are only permitted to live in America if their intent is to “establish the Deen”—that is, to implement Islamic law and Islamize society. Any attempt to live peacefully under American law is forbidden.

He doesn’t hide this. He teaches it.

At minute 34:00, he declares Islam and kufr cannot coexist, repeating, again, the “two hurricanes” analogy. America must be blown away. What will replace it? A Sharia-driven alternative.

At 34:30, he calls Muslims a “standing army,” subtly reminding his audience of their numbers, unity, and purpose. This isn’t spiritual language. This is a militant organization.

At 36:25, he references a Hadith where fighting with your hands is “the strongest act of faith.” When asked how Muslims should respond under Trump, he is coy—but drops hints. He cites Sun Tzu’s “Art of War.” His message is clear: the war is long, strategic, and ongoing.

He urges Muslims to prepare quietly—to train, to read, to grow stronger. But the goal remains the same: the eventual overthrow of kufr—that is, the systems, people, and nations that reject or resist Islam.

From the Panther’s Rifle to the Prophet’s Sword

Imam Jihad is part of a growing movement: Western-born Marxists, racial revolutionaries, radicals, and anarchists who have realized that Islam succeeds where their old doctrines failed.

And nowhere is this shift more visible than inside America’s prisons.

Behind bars, Marx once ruled the minds of the angry and those who felt disenfranchised. Not anymore. Now, Islamic da’wah dominates the ideological battlefield: funded by taxpayers, protected by courts, and marketed as “religious rehabilitation.” Black inmates who once aligned with the Panthers are now handed Qurans and enrolled in jihadist indoctrination under the guise of spiritual reform. The state is no longer suppressing radicals. It’s sponsoring them.

Marx is out. Mohammad is in. And the system is paying for it.

Why? Because Islam:

• Provides a comprehensive system encompassing law, governance, economy, and punishment.
