Since the riots broke out in Los Angeles, most Democrats in office have been placing the blame on President Donald Trump for saying he was going to bring in the National Guard.
If you ask Newsom, things only escalated after Trump made those comments, but that is far from the truth.
Riverside County Sheriff and Republican gubernatorial candidate Chad Bianco is now pouring water on Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass’s claims.
Not telling the truth
Bianco is one of many in a very crowded field for the California governor’s race, and it could get even more crowded if Kamala Harris decides to toss her hat into the ring.
Since California runs an open election, Bianco will have to face off against all these Dems, but he should get enough votes to qualify for a run-off as long as nobody gets the 50% required to win on election day.
With that in mind, Bianco went after Harris over her take on the rioting, stating, “She’s encouraging this.”
Bianco added, “And she’s blaming President Trump for what’s happening, and she is not calling this what it is, which is absolute criminal behavior and an assault on societal norms.”
The sheriff concluded, “It’s an embarrassment every time she gives a statement about anything important.”
Newsom has filed a lawsuit against Trump for going over his head to activate 2,000 National Guard troops and reports broke last night that hundreds of active-duty Marines were sent to California to assist in getting the rioting under control.
I have zero issue with the National Guard, but I believe sending in active-duty troops is a mistake because Democrats will jump all over the narrative that this is martial law being imposed on the state by Trump.
As I have stated in other reports, if California leaders want to die on this hill, I would let them.
I would make it clear, as president, that the National Guard was at their disposal to use, but I would not force the issue, because the American people need to see how Democrats are caving to radicals are more than happy to allow their streets to literally burn to push their radical agenda.
By making the moves that Trump is making, he is allowing Democrats to make him out to be the bad guy in all of this.
It’s sad to say, but doing the “right thing” is no longer acceptable in this country because Democrats, the mainstream media, and liberals use it against us. So, let them destroy their state, then allow the residents of the state to feel the consequences of the people they elected to office.
Sadly, that is the only way they will learn.
