The Biden administration is under renewed scrutiny as serious allegations of misconduct have surfaced against Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the longtime personal physician who managed Joe Biden’s health evaluations during his presidency.
O’Connor now faces accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior and immature pranks during his tenure in the White House medical unit.
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as White House physician under former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama and was Trump’s physician during his first term, has made the claims.
Jackson, who now serves in Congress, revealed in a recent interview that O’Connor repeatedly exhibited disturbing conduct in the workplace, raising questions about his professionalism and fitness to assess the health of a sitting president.
Jackson claims that O’Connor’s behavior was well known within the White House medical team.
“This is like something you would see a 12-year-old boy do,” he told the Daily Caller.
According to Jackson, O’Connor would often ask to borrow someone’s phone, then place it in the area of his groin before handing it back, apparently finding the prank hilarious.
“Most people were just astonished,” Jackson said. “They were just kind of like, ‘What’s going on here?’”
While Jackson stopped short of naming victims or providing specific dates, he alleged that several female staffers were present when O’Connor made “sexually inappropriate comments” that were offensive and unprofessional.
He described the doctor’s behavior as immature and said it became a frequent source of frustration during his tenure leading the White House medical unit.
Efforts to discipline or remove O’Connor at the time, Jackson said, were met with political resistance.
“Because if I had gotten rid of him,” he stated, “it was made very clear to me that I would be immediately getting a phone call from President Obama telling me, ‘What are you doing? Joe Biden’s upset. You need to hire this guy back or you need to stop this. You can’t get rid of this guy.’”
O’Connor’s position in the White House continued well into Biden’s presidency.
Critics have long raised concerns that O’Connor’s personal loyalty to Biden may have interfered with his duty to provide unbiased assessments of the president’s health—especially following Biden’s controversial 2024 physical, which O’Connor declared showed the president was fit for duty.
That evaluation came as many Americans, lawmakers and commentators questioned Biden’s cognitive and physical capacity to lead.
O’Connor’s decision to downplay signs of potential decline has drawn fire from those who believe the administration is hiding the truth, according to Trending Politics.
O’Connor, a former Army colonel, has longstanding ties to the Biden family. In addition to serving as Joe Biden’s doctor, O’Connor reportedly had business dealings with Biden’s brother, James.
The two were involved in a hospital investment project that later collapsed amid fraud allegations from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
James Biden later received a pardon at the end of the president’s term.
Despite the mounting allegations, neither the White House nor Dr. O’Connor has commented publicly.
The silence has only fueled speculation over the former president’s health and the credibility of those tasked with evaluating it.
