Months ago, I said the DOJ should bring Kilmar back to the US, have the order of the withholding removed, and ship him back to CECOT in El Salvador. The DOJ has now done that, with a bit of a twist. Last Friday, Maryland Man Wife-beating Gangbanger Kilmar Abrego Garcia was returned to the US to face Human Trafficking charges in Tennessee. When Trump was asked about Kilmar’s return and new charges, he said that “it wasn’t my decision,” but if that’s how the DOJ chose to handle it, “that’s fine.”
Currently, Kilmar is only charged with two counts related to transporting the illegals seen in the body cam footage. However, at the press conference announcing his return and charges, AG Bondi said that he was a part of the same international human trafficking ring connected to the 2021 truck crash in Mexico that killed 50. She also said that his known co-conspirators have told investigators that he may have been involved with the murder of a rival gang member’s mother, abused the women he was tasked to traffic, and possibly solicited nudie pics and video from a minor. However, he has not been charged with any of those things yet.
