It’s official—President Trump has deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles to put an end to the violent chaos erupting over federal agents simply trying to do their jobs. The riots, triggered by ICE deportations—particularly of illegal immigrants with violent criminal records—have turned parts of the city into a war zone. And naturally, Trump’s move to restore order has the left foaming at the mouth.
Critics are calling the use of National Guard troops “unprecedented”—which, of course, is a lie. In 1957, President Eisenhower went even further by stripping control of the Arkansas National Guard from the governor entirely. He federalized the troops to escort the Little Rock Nine—nine black students integrating a previously all-white school. That was bold. What Trump’s doing? It’s called Tuesday.
Still, this classic liberal outrage machine only intensifies the feud between Governor Gavin Newsom and President Trump. The governor seems more interested in protecting criminal aliens than American citizens, and the streets of L.A. reflect the result of that leadership.
But let’s shift gears to another hot mess—the cyber feud between the world’s richest man and the most powerful one.
Elon Musk and Donald Trump have been trading shots online. For a while, the back-and-forth read like a schoolyard spat with billion-dollar stakes. But in recent days, things have cooled. Musk has deleted his most inflammatory tweets, and Trump—displaying a rare flash of strategic grace—says he’s got bigger fish to fry.
And honestly, accusing Trump of being tight with Jeffrey Epstein was a wild card that landed like a lead balloon. If Trump were actually in Epstein’s inner circle, you can bet the Russia hoax, impeach-a-thon, and endless legal warfare would’ve been unnecessary. The Dems could’ve taken him out in one shot.
Instead, we got circus trials, phony dossiers, and a whole lot of nothing—because the Epstein angle simply doesn’t stick.
Even Michael Cohen—Trump’s disgraced ex-fixer turned professional hater—thinks the Epstein accusation is insane.
When Cohen won’t even back your smear, you know you’ve gone too far. JD Vance also weighed in, shooting down the claim during a recent podcast with Theo Von. And he did it with style.
Vance made another solid point: Elon may actually have some legitimate beef with “the big, beautiful bill.” Sure, his reaction was over the top, but the frustration? Understandable.
Of course, Democrats are practically salivating at the spectacle, hoping to leverage the drama to boost their popularity—which is already hanging by a thread. Trump, however, seems ready to bury the hatchet and move forward.
And here’s where it gets spicy—Rep. Adam Schiff, poster child for partisan melodrama, jumped into the fray with a rare agreement with Musk, criticizing the bill on X.
To which Musk replied: “Hmm, few things could convince me to reconsider my position more than Adam Schiff agreeing with me!”
Touché.
If Schiff thought the tax cuts only helped the rich, why would Musk—one of the richest—have opposed them? The logic doesn’t add up. What does add up is Democrats scrambling for a win amid a PR nightmare.
Take MS-13 thug Kilmar Abrego Garcia, for example. The DOJ just dropped a bombshell: the Democrats’ poster child is actually a human smuggler, a violent gang member, and—oh yeah—he’s back in the U.S. to serve time in prison.
Remember when Democrat reps used taxpayer funds to fly to El Salvador and have lunch with this guy? They hope you don’t. But the internet remembers.
This wasn’t just one misguided visit. Lawmakers actively tried to sanitize the public image of a woman-beating MS-13 gangster and illegal alien. Now, thanks to grand jury findings, the truth is undeniable.
And as Los Angeles burns, led by Democrats like Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Newsom, the Sunshine State resembles a banana republic under siege. Protesters—many illegal immigrants—are hurling rocks and bricks at federal vehicles and agents.
This is what happens when you roll out the red carpet for illegals and then act surprised when they riot to let in more.
Meanwhile, back on the right side of the aisle, MAGA patriots aren’t out there firebombing Tesla dealerships or keying electric cars, despite 80% being fed up with Elon. The left always defaults to chaos, while the right refocuses on strategy.
The Musk-Trump spat seems to be on ice for now—and that’s a good thing. Democrats have enough disasters to deal with. Maybe it’s time they figured out who they actually represent, because it sure as hell isn’t the average American.
