The billionaire was forced to address a claim that he had posted a derogatory statement about Trump ally Stephen Miller’s wife. Screenshots show an account, supposedly belonging to the X owner, responding to Miller, saying, “We will take back America” by saying, “Just like I took your wife.”

A user attempted to verify the authenticity of the message utilizing Grok, X’s AI system. The answer the bot gave was less than accurate, Musk says.
