The same mayor who decided to hold a Christmas party for elected officials of a certain skin color has found the nerve to slander ICE agents as racist for simply doing their job.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu equated ICE to “secret police,” claiming that they wear masks just like New England-based neo-Nazi group NSC131.
She’s got a lot of nerve claiming masks are a racist proclamation when she mandated residents mask up for over two years.
Can someone please inform the left that an illegal immigrant is not a race? Thus, this has nothing to do with White supremacy, and everything to do with enforcing federal immigration laws, but people like Wu don’t care, as they would rather residents live in fear and uncertainty, as a way to hold on to any power they have left.
It’s not even a good argument, as she’s just equating two things that should not be equated.
You know who else wears masks? Progressives who are still living in fear of the invisible sniffles, otherwise known as COVID. And although that is likely an undiagnosed mental disorder at this point, no one’s calling them racist, despite what anything neo-Nazi’s’ are wearing.
According to Mass Live
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu defended her characterization of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as “secret police” on Wednesday following scathing criticism by Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Leah Foley, who called Wu’s comment a “false narrative.”
Federal immigration officers have not been “sharing exactly who was arrested and why,” Wu told reporters when asked about Foley’s criticism outside an unrelated event at Boston City Hall. “The U.S. attorney is attacking me for saying what Bostonians see with their own eyes.”
That’s none of her concern, as federal immigration enforcement has always been something above her pay grade. Nonetheless, she’s acting as if she has a right to know where foreign nationals are being sent, despite them never having a right to be here in the first place. Is she even going to pretend to care to represent legal residents at this point? Because her words speak louder than her actions, or lack thereof, and it’s clear who she is fighting for.
“Every aspect of what’s happening at the federal level is causing harm in our local communities,” the mayor said during an interview. “People are terrified for their lives and for their neighbors, folks getting snatched off the street by secret police who are wearing masks, who can offer no justification for why certain people are being taken and then detained.”
Boston police enforce the law “without wearing masks, displaying their badges publicly, with body cameras that document the interactions that take place with full transparency, because we have nothing to hide,” she said. “I don’t know of any police department that routinely wears masks.”
Wu went on to state that “other groups routinely wear masks,” such as New England-based neo-Nazi group NSC131, the Globe reported.
Oh, I didn’t realize Mayor Wu was some kind of law enforcement expert with tons of experience in federal immigration. Wow, who knew? Maybe she actually knows what she’s talking about. Or maybe—just maybe—she has no clue, and based on what she says and does, she’s just another puppet complaining about things she doesn’t even begin to understand.
Maybe one day Wu will represent the legal residents and citizens of Boston, but until then, she has made it clear where her priorities belong, and it does not concern YOU.
