Over the weekend, Donald Trump’s common-sense illegal immigration reform came to Los Angeles, where Democrats did what Democrats do. They rioted, set things on fire, and waved flags from foreign countries. Not that there weren’t American Flags there too, but those were set on fire. If you were to create a Venn diagram of “this is why I voted for Trump” and “this is why Democrats lose,” it would be a circle.
Here’s where things stand as of this morning. The LA Police chief says they are overwhelmed by the invading forces, and could use a little help, even as Gov. Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass, two California “leaders” known for doing nothing, claim nothing needs to be done.
X-Twitter is lousy with California progressives making Donald Trump’s case about the illegal immigration crisis, and who the left is for him. But if there were one video to summarize the weekend in under ten seconds…
President Trump responded to the chaos promising that “if officials stand in the way of law and order, yeah, they will face charges,” and reminding everyone times have changed and that he’s not going to let this chaos take over in the same way the People Who Controlled Joe Biden and his auto-pen did.
FACT CHECK: There is no evidence that the auto-pen was used to sign things without Biden’s knowledge, according to people who, at best, were gullible enough to believe every lie Democrats told them and, at worst, were willing to repeat every lie Democrats told them.
Then he dropped these bars:
However, the low-key best part in all this? It’s that Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, hasn’t been activated yet. Emphasis on YET.
