The Porcupine Freedom Festival, or “PorcFest,” is an annual libertarian festival taking place in New Hampshire in June, featuring a “clothing-optional” zone for attendees who want to fully experience “liberty living,” according to the festival’s website.
PorcFest’s website includes a map that details five zones, with one dubbed the “Bodily Freedom Friendly Zone” (BFFZ) where attendees are allowed to participate in “clothing-optional activities.”
Some of the events include “naked espresso,” “clothing-optional yoga,” a “24-hour clothes-sobriety” challenge, a “Nude Olympics,” a gay and lesbian mixer and a “crypto religious service,” according to the festival’s schedule.
Nudity is restricted to the BFFZ and is not permitted in “shared spaces, walkways (outside of BF), Roger’s facilities, or within view of non-BF campsites,” according to the festival’s description of the zone. PorcFest’s “Cultural Code of Conduct” states in a section titled “Parental Responsibility” that the festival encourages “parental autonomy,” pointing to “free range children.”
