Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been returned to the United States to face criminal charges more than two months after being mistakenly deported to El Salvador, theDepartment of Justice confirmed Friday.
Democrats deployed all their forces in the media, government, judiciary and their domestic terror groups to protect Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
President Donald Trump responded to the sudden return of Salvadoran illegal gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, saying:
“he’s a bad guy” and that the courts will “show how horrible this guy is.”
The Department of Justice made the decision and that soon the world will see how “horrible” a person he is.
Trump expressed confidence in the DOJ and its case against Abrego Garcia.
“Maybe they just said, ‘Look, all of these people, these judges, they want to try and run the country.’ A local judge trying to run the country,” said Trump. “The man has a horrible past, and I could see a decision being made, bring him back, show everybody how horrible this guy is.”
The president said, “Frankly, we have to do something because the judges are trying to take the place of a president that won in a landslide. That’s not supposed to be the way it is. So, I can see bringing him back. I could see. He’s a bad guy.” (more)
The 29-year-old has been indicted by a grand jury in the U.S. for allegedly transporting undocumented migrants. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said during a press briefing that Abrego Garcia worked for nine years as a human trafficker.
“Our government presented El Salvador with an arrest warrant, and they agreed to return him to our country,” Bondi said. “We are grateful to President Bukele for agreeing to return him to our country to face these very serious charges. This is what American justice looks like.”
Newsweek: Despite arguments by Abrego Garcia’s wife and legal team that he was not an MS-13 gang member or criminal and had been working honestly in Maryland, Bondi alleged Friday that the Salvadoran had spent nine years working in a smuggling ring.
“This was his full-time job. Not a contractor,” Bondi said. “He was a smuggler of humans, and children, and women.”
The grand jury in Tennessee said Abrego Garcia made over 100 trips as part of the ring, moving immigrants across the U.S., including gang members. Bondi said co-conspirators had made the claims about Abrego Garcia.
Bondi said Abrego Garcia was part of the same ring linked to around 50 deaths in Mexico, when a tractor-trailer overturned in 2021, but he was not charged in relation to this.

Supreme Court Bars Trump From Removing Venezuelan Illegal Criminals Under the Alien Enemies Act
The United States fetched Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador on Friday, nearly three months after his mistaken deportation, charging the Maryland-based migrant who became a flashpoint in the Trump administration’s immigration policies with federal human trafficking crimes.
The 29-year-old Salvadoran national is accused of taking part in a human smuggling ring for around nine years, according to a Tennessee grand jury indictment filed on May 21. The indictment was made public on Friday, as Abrego Garcia was en route to the U.S. to be arraigned.
Friday afternoon, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Abrego Garcia had landed back in the U.S. “to face justice”, after the Trump administration previously avoided facilitating his return from his home country despite an order by the U.S. Supreme Court.
His attorneys said at a media briefing Friday evening that the government was playing “dirty tricks”.
Why It MattersAfter it emerged Abrego Garcia was deported following an “administrative error” under the Alien Enemies Act, the Trump administration insisted that he was a known MS-13 gang member and criminal, despite not presenting evidence. The indictment finally lays out the allegations against him.
