And if you feel led to do so we also need your support as we have taken major financial hits over the past few months. During that time we had a rent increase, insurance increase, new vet bills for the oldest cat and now financial fraud and major car troubles.
My car has been having starting/running issues for the last few weeks and my best guess is a fuel system issue but without the proper tools and equipment I have no way to pinpoint it. Is it a fuel filter thats plugged, an injector or 2 going bad? I have no way to tell. This is the car my wife will be forced to drive to and from work for at least the rest of this month, so please pray that it keeps running for us while we need it.
So while I’ve been praying over my car issues my wife came home from work yesterday and informed me that her car (only 4 years old) has the transmission going out. It sounds like angry beasts are fighting underneath the car where the transmisison lies and it only does it while downshifting, but I have no doubt it’s the gears in her transmission going out and driving it will just make it worse and leave her stranded. Praise God that it happened whlie it’s still under factory warranty! We had about 5000 miles to go before it expired, so we shouldn’t have to pay for that repair but we can’t get it in until June 17th. While it’s there it needs brake pads and an oil change which we will have to pay for but that’s something we planned for, we deifinately didn’t plan on this as Toyota powertrains are supposed to be bulletproof. They’re not bulletproof anymore now that they’re made in Mexico.
Last but not least as I checked my bank account balance I was short $50!!! That leaves me with $13.37 in my account after a fraudulent charge came through. We had plans for that money as every cent has to be accounted for in our budget as it’s VERY tight every month. To say that I’m beyond frustrated (and broke) at this point would be an understatement but I will continue to praise the Lord all the way through the storm! For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. Proverbs 24:16 That’s what we’re standing on along with “I can do all things through Christ who strenghens me” Phillippians 4:13 and “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” Isaiah 54:17
Well that’s about all of it, at least the stuff that’s happened over the last 24 hours. We are in a war, a spiritual war and because of that we are under a major attack right now. Believe me I know we’re not the only ones suffering and we pray for everyone who even visits the website to be blessed, even those who curse me and hate me as we are instructed to love and pray for our enemies by Jesus Himself in Matthrew 5:44. The times are geting very dark but we can’t let that defeat us and keep us down. Let’s keep one another lifted up in prayer and also support one another when it’s needed.
