Who’s going to call out Governor Tina Kotek for putting her troubled wife Aimee ahead of the job voters chose her for?
Before I get to the top level nepotism problem, let’s consider if the Governor is doing her job?
The biggest problems in the state at this point are housing, homeless and drug overdoses.
Kotek promised to double housing…construction dropped in half instead.
Drug use and deaths remain rampant.
The homeless still clutter the streets and this summer pose a major fire hazard to other citizens.
What’s Kotek focused on instead?
Her wife, Aimee. By her own account, Aimee Kotek is mentally ill and alcoholic.
The Governor crippled her own office last year by losing her four top staffers over the Aimee mess.
Kotek promised a year ago not to put her wife in important policy making positions.
Now, she breaks that promise by assigning her to lead a group to solve the state’s mental health crisis.
Oregon’s crazy first lady is now in charge of solving crazy.
Meanwhile, the state’s other major problems take a backseat to Tina Kotek’s domestic problems.
Ain’t Democrat party, single party rule great?
