A Florida high school is being accused of taking LGBTQXYZ+++++ indoctrination to a twisted new level.
According to sources obtained by the Daily Wire, high schoolers in Miami-Dade County were assigned a sexuality-focused questionnaire that asked questions like: “What do you think caused your heterosexuality?”; “Is it possible that being straight is just a phase you may grow out of?”; and, “Considering the menace of hunger and overpopulation, could the human race survive if everyone were straight like yourself?”
The questionnaire is reportedly part of a course titled “Preparing for Student Success” that is supposed to focus on academics and college preparedness and was administered to dual-enrollment high achievers through Miami-Dade College.
But it gets worse.
The questions are from a textbook, “POWER: Strategies for Success in College and Life” by Robert Feldman, a senior research associate at UMass Amherst. Published by McGraw-Hill, a major U.S. academic publisher. Its resources reach 13,000 K-12 school districts nationwide, according to The Daily Wire.
The creepy questions were adopted from a 1972 questionnaire by gay rights activist Martin Rochlin, who founded the Gay and Lesbian Center of Los Angeles, the DW reported.
The Daily Wire’s deep dive found more probing and absurd “questions” that were asked of students, including:
“When and how did you decide you were straight?”
“Is it possible that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?”
“There seem to be many unhappy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed that might enable you to change your sexual orientation. Have you considered changing?”
“Why do straights place so much emphasis on sex?”
Wait. What?! But, there’s more:
“To whom have you disclosed your straight tendencies?”
“Why do you insist on showing off your heterosexuality?”
Unsurprisingly, parents in Miami-Dade, which recently turned red, were shocked and disturbed by the warped indoctrination that has nothing to do with college preparedness and academics.
“You don’t talk about these things, especially with kids. If you are a math teacher, you teach math,” one mom told the Daily Wire. “These types of courses shouldn’t exist.”
In response to the backlash, Miami-Dade College said it would remove the questionnaire.
“We are committed to creating a learning environment where students are successful and have the support to achieve academic excellence through fair and unbiased grading practices. We appreciate the engagement of our students, families, and school partners as we remain focused on delivering high-quality education that adheres to state guidelines,” the college said, according to the Daily Wire.
In other words… they got caught.
