It’s June, which means it’s time to be prideful of insignificant preferences. Today’s show breaks down the dumb things companies are doing to cave to the gay agenda.
“It’s the most wondeful time of queer,” Crowder said.
According to NBC:
Overall, 1 in 4 respondents, or 25%, said they supported trans women participating in female sports in a yes/no question. The other 75% of American adults said they do not believe trans women should be permitted to participate in female sports.
“I love how they compare this to civil rights,” Crowder said. “This is not the same thing at all.”
The poll found a significant gender gap between young men and women on the issue. About 3 in 4 Gen Z men (72%) say transgender women should not be allowed to play female sports, compared with about half of young women (56%).
“Here’s the good news — the tides are turning, both in corporations and socially,” Crowder said. “Gen Z males aren’t just conservative when it comes to taxes, but they are conservative on social issues.”
According to Gravity Research, “39% of companies plan to reduce Pride-related engagement in 2025. Notably, no respondents reported plans to increase engagement.”
61% of executives cite the Trump administration as the top reason for rethinking Pride strategies, with conservative activists and GOP policymakers close behind. Employee pressure, once a key influence, has waned.
The second top reason was pressure from Conservative activists and consumers.
“When they say activists, they mean you, they mean the voter,” Crowder said.
Support for this agenda is falling, and it’s consistent.
While many organizations have pulled back from the debauchery this month, some are still clinging to the former status quo. However, most are no longer escalating it. This includes companies like Disney, Target, and Levi’s, among others.
“The trends you’re seeing with corporations reflect a shift in public opinion. Many of you thought this would never happen in our lifetime,” Crowder said. “But no, that’s not what’s happening.”
