CV NEWS FEED // The Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona, has announced that it will host the 2025 Catholic Media Conference next June.
According to the Catholic Sun, the Diocese’s news source, next year’s theme will be “Arise in the Desert.” The annual conference serves members of the Catholic Media Association (CMA), an organization of Catholic publishers and media professionals.
At the Conference, journalists, communications experts, and people who work in public relations, advertising, marketing, and other fields, are provided with professional development, networking opportunities, and faith formation.
Bishop John P. Dolan of Phoenix expressed excitement at hosting the Conference in a promotional video.
“The Diocese of Phoenix is excited to host the CMA Conference next summer,” he said. “Our diocese has a rich history, hosting Pope St. John Paul II in 1987, St. Mother Teresa in 1989, and now you, the CMA Conference.”
Brett Meister, the Diocese’s director of communications, said that the Diocese is “thrilled” to host the Conference next summer.
“It is a wonderful organization and is an annual setting for communications professionals from across the country to connect with their peers to learn, network, be inspired and meet new colleagues,” he said, according to the Catholic Sun, adding:
Our communications team is excited to share our growth and transformation in the digital space with new, robust content and the avenues in which we connect with people wherever and whenever they are to evangelize.
