Fears of another world war are mounting over concerns about the Biden administration’s latest planned shocking move in Ukraine.
The Biden administration is mulling allowing American military contractors to deploy to Ukraine to fight against Russia on behalf of the Ukrainian government, according to CNN.
This means Americans would be allowed to directly join Ukraine’s war against Russia, which in turn could very well aggravate Russian President Vladimir Putin, who’s already angry with the U.S.

The only good news is that all this is tentative at the moment.
“We have not made any decisions and any discussion of this is premature,” an anonymous administration official told CNN.
Still, if approved, the plan would likely be enacted this year, thus allowing “the Pentagon to provide contracts to American companies for work inside Ukraine for the first time since Russia invaded in 2022,” according to CNN.
It would amount to a huge change in policy.
“Over the last two years, Biden has insisted that all Americans, and particularly US troops, stay far away from the Ukrainian frontlines,” CNN noted. “The White House has been determined to limit both the danger to Americans and the perception, particularly by Russia, that the US military is engaged in combat there.”
In fairness, there have been drawbacks to not allowing U.S. forces to be involved in the Ukraine war.
“As a result, US-provided military equipment that has sustained significant damage in combat has had to be transported out of the country to Poland, Romania, or other NATO countries for repairs, a process which takes time,” according to CNN.
“US troops are also available to help the Ukrainians with more routine maintenance and logistics, but only from afar via video chat or secure phone—an arrangement that has come with inherent limitations, since US troops and contractors are not able to work directly on the systems,” CNN noted.
That being said, the question remains, is it worth doing this to help Ukraine win its war against Russia? Or is the risk of slow-walking into World War III not worth it?
One step closer to direct conflict

This is the 1st step to US Troops on the ground.

The Democrats keep inching us more and more into the conflict. There will, at this rate, come a point when we wind up in a shooting war with Russia. This is so reckless.

There have been American contractors/volunteers there the whole time.
This sounds like an effort to scale that up and slap an “official” label on it.

Why is the administration even considering going this far? Allegedly because of stalled Ukraine funding in Congress.
This news comes weeks after a separate report noted that the Biden administration had “quietly” authorized Ukraine to start using U.S. weapons to strike Russian forces within Russia itself.
“The president recently directed his team to ensure that Ukraine is able to use U.S. weapons for counter-fire purposes in Kharkiv so Ukraine can hit back at Russian forces hitting them or preparing to hit them,” an anonymous official told Politico.
This meant Ukrainian forces could start using American rockets and rocket launchers to eliminate Russian missiles headed toward Kharkiv and to also take down Russian bombers dropping bombs on Kharkiv.
“But the official said Ukraine cannot use those weapons to hit civilian infrastructure or launch long-range missiles, such as the Army Tactical Missile System, to hit military targets deep inside Russia,” Politico noted.
The official stressed that the original policy of not authorizing long-range strikes within Russia “has not changed.”
In the wake of this news, critics also cried foul, with many accusing the Biden administration of pushing America toward another World War:

that’s a declaration of war on Russia by the USA. Putin can interpret it no other way!

Last I heard, Congress has a say about wars.

Outrageous! Joe Biden’s reckless decision to permit Ukraine to use US weapons against Russia is a blatant act of war, endangering the lives of millions. This is not just an impeachable offense, it’s a treasonous act that could ignite a global catastrophe.
