A spokeswoman for Joe Biden told MSNBC that the president will be “very energized” for his debate with Donald Trump this week.
Yes, really.
“I’ll tell you, you’re gonna see a very energized President Biden who is looking forward to having these direct conversations with Donald Trump on Thursday night in Atlanta,” said Adrienne Elrod.
Many respondents on X speculated that the only way for Biden to appear “very energized” is if he’s hopped up on a cocktail of drugs.
As we previously highlighted, Biden is reportedly rehearsing on how to stand up for a prolonged period of time after his campaign requested that CNN have the entire debate be a sit down affair.
Trump told the hosts of the Cats & Cosby Show last month, “I hear now we’re sitting at tables. I don’t want to sit at a table.”
“I said, ‘No, let’s stand.’ But they want to sit at a table,” Trump commented, adding “So we’ll be sitting at a table as opposed to doing it the way you should be, in my opinion, in a debate.”
During a campaign rally in Philadelphia on Saturday, Trump wondered how Biden would get through the debate (which is only 90 minutes long) without some form of chemical enhancement.
“A little before debate time he gets a shot in the ass, they want to strengthen him up… I say he’ll come out all jacked up!” Trump declared.
