Trump brought a young supporter to tears with a heartfelt gesture at a recent campaign stop in Philadelphia, which was captured in a viral video.
The former president’s visit to Tony and Nick’s Steaks turned into an emotional encounter when he noticed a boy mirroring his iconic look.
The young Trump fan, donned in a blue suit and blonde wig, is seen beaming as his role model approaches him amidst the crowded restaurant.
Trump then addresses the boy with a signed $20 bill in hand in the video that has garnered nearly five million views.
“We’re going to add some value,” Trump said as he adorned the cash.
The former commander-in-chief playfully educates the youngster about Andrew Jackson, whose portrait graces the bill.
The exchange becomes even more entertaining when Trump jokingly states, “I like that kid! So if your parents don’t want you, I’ll take you!”
The pair then poses for a heartwarming photo.
The touching clip gained traction on social media after Trump’s deputy communications director, Margo Martin, highlighted the moment.
Another video from the campaign stop capturing Trump’s generosity went viral too, showcasing the moment the former president left a $500 tip for the staff at the restaurant.
“No tax on tips!” Trump said, aligning with a recent promise he made during a recent rally in Las Vegas where he pledged to eliminate taxes on tips for service industry workers if reelected, Breitbart News previously reported.
Tony and Nick’s Steaks owner Nicky Lucidonio described the experience to Fox News as “unbelievable.”
“He was talking to people, you know, they’re asking questions. He’s answering them. He’s signing hats. He signed and everything,” Lucidonio added.
“We’re all taking pictures with him. What a great man, you know. We’re all here rooting for him. You know, this November, we gotta get him in.”
Trump’s impromptu interaction left a lasting impression on the patrons and staff alike, marking a notable moment in his ongoing campaign efforts.
Lucidonio further explained to Fox that the now viral moment was unexpected, and came just after a woman made a large and mysterious order Friday afternoon.
“This lady came with a bunch of people and she said, ‘I got a big order for [Saturday].’ I said, ‘OK, that’s great,’ you know… And it was like I would say about 200 sandwiches.
“Wow, 200 cheesesteaks. I said, ‘Great, who’s it for?’ She wanted to help me. She said it’s for some special people.”
Trump recently went viral for a stop at a Chick-Fil-A where he bought 30 milkshakes and “some Chicken” for other people.
One moment depicted a young woman hugging the former president, stating, “I don’t care what the media tells you, Mr. Trump, we support you.”
Roughly one week later Biden was blasted on X for his “scripted” Wawa stop in Philadelphia.
“It was later revealed that his entire visit to the Wawa was staged,” Collin Rugg said of the exchange, as reported by Resist the Mainstream.
“Workers were caught on camera scripting his visit and even preparing for the cashiers ‘tip.’” Rugg continued.
“The visit looked much different than Trump’s visit to Chick-fil-A where he was greeted by tons of excited supporters.”
