Well, this is NOT good news for Alec Baldwin.
His defense in his manslaughter case just got a LOT tougher.
New court documents have been released that contain allegations of Alec Baldwin engaging “in horseplay” with firearms on the set of the movie “Rust,” before ultimately shooting and killing one of the crew members on set.
The movie’s armorer has already been placed behind bars, as it was found that the accident would have probably been prevented if the armorer was doing her job properly.
Still, that does not absolve Baldwin of his responsibility in the incident, and the age 66 star might be facing some very serious consequences as a result.
Baldwin has maintained his complete innocence throughout this entire ordeal, but now reports are coming out that Baldwin might not have been as calm, cool, and collected on set as he’s saying he was.
The documents were prepared by prosecutors and allege that Baldwin did very irresponsible things with a firearm on set such as using “his gun as a pointer directing crew members” and “discharged the revolver after the filming was over and ‘cut’ was called.”
Anybody who’s ever been around a weapon for more than five minutes that you NEVER point a gun at anyone you don’t intend to harm and that you NEVER NEVER fire that gun when you’re not intending to harm something.
Who knows if Baldwin was simply uneducated about firearms or whether he was simply trying to act like a tough guy who wasn’t scared by guns.
Regardless of his motives, Baldwin‘s recklessness on set is the reason another human being has been killed, according to prosecutors.
