During a recent MSNBC segment, anchor Joy Reid and Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) both laughed out loud while talking about a thirteen-year-old girl being molested by an illegal alien.
The illegal immigrant from Ecuador was taken into custody by the NYPD on Monday where he confessed to raping a 13-year-old girl in a park at knifepoint in broad daylight and filming the attack.
In a news segment downplaying the very real impact of illegal immigration on Americans, Reid and Jayapal called the increased attention to the matter “fearmongering.”
Next, Reid highlighted “one of the reasons people” are becoming more fearful of the millions of people from across the world illegally entering America.
The MSNBC host showed three different screenshots of news outlets covering Joe Biden’s recent executive order giving at least 500,000 illegals protection from being deported.
CNN and MSNBC banners Reid showed highlighted Biden announcing protections for “undocumented” spouses of U.S. citizens while the Fox News banner stated, “Migrant Arrested For Raping 13-Year-Old NYC Girl.”
Immediately after reading the Fox banner out loud, Jayapal blurted out a huge laugh with Reid responding, “Yes!”
“So, I think that’s part of the problem… fearmongering,” Reid added.
Jayapal agreed, “Exactly.”
The disturbing interaction is a good example of how the Democrat are willing to place their political aspirations ahead of the safety of American citizens.
