Man, am I the only one whose back hurts just reading this headline?
A new survey of 2,000 Americans distributed evenly across generations shows that the average American feels 10 years older than they actually are. And most are blaming it on joint pain. A majority of Americans, 85%, experience some sort of joint pain, half of those don’t realize there is a direct correlation between increased muscle strength and reduced joint pain when in fact there is.
Less than half, 47%, feel optimistic about finding lasting relief. Everyone’s back, knees, ankles, and elbows hurt. And most people don’t even think that exercise can help. Nearly half are completely hopeless.
