McDonald’s is introducing a $5 meal deal. It includes a McDouble or McChicken, small fries, four-piece McNuggets, and a small soda. The deal will be available starting June 25. It’s a limited-time offer in U.S. locations.
The chain also has a “Free Fries Friday” promotion. Buy any item for $1 through their app, and you get a free medium fries. This started in fall 2023.
“We’re focused on offering delicious, affordable options,” said McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger. The deal aims to make dining affordable and enjoyable.
In April, CEO Chris Kempczinski commented on the economic pressure. “Consumer pressures persist worldwide,” he said. “People are being careful with their spending due to higher prices.”
Kempczinski emphasized the need for affordability. McDonald’s must remain affordable for its customers.
As of March, McDonald’s has 42,000 locations globally. Out of these, 13,500 are in the U.S.
