Former Attorney General Eric Holder seems to be worried that the Supreme Court could torpedo the Biden regime’s lawfare effort against presumptive GOP nominee Donald J. Trump.
In a Wednesday MSNBC appearance, “Obama’s wingman” expressed concern about the possibility of a “dangerous” ruling that could spring Trump from the legal trap built by unprincipled Democrat prosecutors, suggesting that the time that it has taken for a decision to be reached is a bad omen.
The nightmare scenario for Democrats would be a ruling that Trump’s actions were undertaken as a part of his official duties as president, effectively sinking underhanded Special Counsel Jack Smith’s cases.

“I want to ask you how you’re thinking about this period where we are waiting for the extraordinary, for something that people told us we wouldn’t have to worry about,” said “Deadline: White House” host Nicolle Wallace.
“We’re waiting for the Supreme Court’s opinion on immunity and Trump has actually argued before the Supreme Court and based on the questioning has some receptive audience members to the idea that a president should be immune from prosecution,” she said, referring to conservative justices and asking, “How are you thinking about his period and do you have any predictions?”
“Well I gotta tell you this,” Holder responded. “Anything less than a decision by the Supreme Court that says a president should be held to the laws just like any other American citizen should be, anything other than that is absurd.”
“The notion, for instance, that apparently some justices are fooling around with it, well, if the president violated the criminal law, but was doing so in his official capacity, there may be some basis to say that that’s OK,” he continued. “We need to step back, and think about that.”
“You know, wait a minute, a president can violate the American criminal law if he or she is doing something in their official capacity. That is an absurd and dangerous conclusion,” he continued. “And I’m worried, given the length of time that it has taken for the Supreme Court to decide this case, that something along those lines might come out of the Supreme Court.”
Holder then praised a federal appellate court that ruled against Trump and suggested that the SCOTUS shouldn’t have even taken a case despite its grave constitutional implications.
“I’m worried when Justice Kavanaugh says things like ‘we have to write for the ages,’ no you don’t. You need to decide the case just in front of you on the basis of the facts and the law that has been presented to you and if you do that, you’ll reach the same conclusion as the appellate court that a president needs to be held accountable in the same way that any other American would be.” he said. “Any other result other than that is I think both absurd and extremely, extremely dangerous.”
Holder didn’t mention his former boss’s own violations of the law in his official capacity when Obama dialed up a drone strike on an American citizen without due process. But such is the nature of the current two-tiered system of justice where prosecutions are determined by political affiliation.
Democrats have been getting antsy about the coming ruling, so much so that they have spent weeks trying to force Chief Justice John Roberts to boot conservative Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas off the bench over phony, cooked-up controversies.
Alito & Thomas must recuse from 1/6 matters. The appearance-or reality-of bias is simply too strong. The Supreme Court must be a valued institution above the partisan fray. Unfortunately-the Court has done much in recent terms to not seem neutral, detached https://t.co/mBEOFt0dAE

Before there was Merrick Garland, it was “Obama’s wingman” who politicized the Justice Department, laying the groundwork for what was to come.
