There is nothing but bad news coming down the pike for Joe Biden about the 2024 election.
Democrats can’t find any silver linings in the last set of data.
Joe Biden will feel sick when he sees these brutal new poll numbers.
Ann Selzer is one of the most respected pollsters in America.
Selzer’s surveys of Iowa are considered the gold standard of the polling industry.
And her latest poll sent shockwaves across the political spectrum.
A new Des Moines Register/Selzer poll found Trump with an 18-point lead over Biden in Iowa.

Biden: 32%

Donald Trump won Iowa by nine in 2016 and eight in 2020.
Trump turned the state ruby red thanks to his “America First” message on immigration, trade and foreign policy.
No one expected Iowa to be in play this year.
But it’s what the polling found in Iowa – combined with Selzer’s sterling reputation – that caused a sense of impending doom to descend on the Democrat Party.
The previous low for a Democrat in the last 60 years was Jimmy Carter’s 38.6% against Ronald Reagan in 1980.
Iowa also shares a border with Wisconsin and Minnesota.
In 2008, Obama won Iowa by seven points over John McCain while winning Wisconsin by 14 points and Minnesota by 10.
Trump flipped Iowa and Wisconsin red and came within 50,000 votes of Hillary Clinton in Minnesota.
Selzer’s poll showing Trump doubling his 2016 margin goes a long way towards showing why polling averages show Trump leading Biden in Minnesota.
That wasn’t the only awful polling news of the day for Biden.
Redfield & Wilton Strategies and Telegraph released state-level polling showing Trump leading Biden in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Democrats thought Biden’s polling would improve as the election drew closer and Americans began to internalize that the election actually would be a contest between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
But in fact, the exact opposite has happened.
And each successive wave of polls show Trump gaining strength.
