Hollywood star Chrissy Teigen fears that former President Donald Trump will “come after” her if he retakes the White House in November.
Teigen also revealed during a podcast interview that she’s scared Trump still resents her for calling him a “p**ssy a** b*tch” on social media several years ago; a moment she’s described as “a career highlight.”
“It’s also kind of scary, because it’s, ‘Oh, he’s aware of me’,” Tiegan said of Trump’s possible re-election, as outlined by Deadline.
“What could really happen because of that? We obviously know he’s unhinged but could he actually come after you in other ways? It’s a weird feeling.”
Teigen and her husband John Legend also shared that they are endorsing Biden for re-election during the interview.
“We’re going to be active,” Legend said. “We’re going to the White House on the way home from here and we’re going to support President Biden.”
Legend later admitted he’s “sure some fans won’t vote for my team on The Voice because they don’t agree with my politics,” adding that despite that he’s “fine with it.”
“People know what they’re getting with me. I stand for what I stand for, it’s been consistent for a long time.”
Teigen, who has also never been shy about who she’s voting for, concurred: “They’re going to hate you either way, so you might as well be okay sleeping at night.”
Trump and Teigen made headlines back in 2019 over one of various Twitter feuds that began with the then-president ripping Legend and “his filthy mouthed wife.”
Tiegen soon went viral for the infamous vile insult of calling Trump a “p**ssy a** b*tch.”
She then again made headlines for piling on by writing, “the absolute best part of his tweet is I literally didn’t speak in the special, nor was I mentioned.”
“I’m cackling at the pointless addition of me because he cannot not be a b*tch,” she added.
Trump apparently blocked Tiegen soon after, Breitbart News reported.
Tiegan’s fears of Trump retribution is the latest in left-wingers concerned about his possible return to the White House before the end of this year.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), for example, expressed concern about being imprisoned by Trump earlier this month.
“I mean, it sounds nuts, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy threw me in jail,” she said, as reported by Resist the Mainstream.
“He’s out of his mind. I mean, he did his whole first campaign around ‘lock her up.’ This is his motto.”
“I take him at his word when he says that he’s going to round up people. I take him at his word when he threatens journalists. I take him at his word,” she added.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow echoed a similar sentiment, expressing worry about personal victimization during an interview with CNN senior media reporter Oliver Darcey.
She warned that Trump would place her in an internment camp if he returns to the White House. “I’m worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people,” she said.
“So, yes, I’m worried about me — but only as much as I’m worried about all of us,” she admitted during a later part of the interview.
