Former President Donald Trump drew attention to the “Bunch of BS” in an offending report that claimed he held a “meandering” CEO meeting.
New York Times columnist and CNBC host Andrew Ross Sorkin was not in attendance at a Business Roundtable Trump held last week. But he cited accounts from multiple CEOs who did attend as he recounted to “Squawk Box” viewers that the presumptive Republican nominee “could not keep a straight thought.”
“I will say I was surprised,” Sorkin said.
“I spoke to a number of CEOs who I would say walked into the meeting being Trump supporter-ish, or thinking that they might be leaning that direction, who said that he was remarkably meandering, could not keep a straight thought, was all over the map, and that they – which, maybe not surprising – but was interesting to me because these were people who, I think, might have been actually predisposed to him and actually walked out of the room less predisposed to him, actually predisposed to thinking ‘This is not necessarily,’ as one person said, ‘this may not be any different or better than a Biden thought, if you’re thinking that way,’” he added.

Trump came out swinging days later on Truth Social, citing an article from The Daily Signal in which one person who was at the event called the claims by Sorkin and others “BS” and a “farce.”
After the CNBC segment, liberal media outlets picked up the tone and ran with the narrative as did the Biden campaign’s official X account and White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates who posted a link to an article about Sorkin’s remarks. An article on MSNBC also claimed the CEOs left Trump’s meeting with “concerns about his cognitive state.”
“It’s a clear bunch of BS,” an attendee countered, according to The Daily Signal. “This is a farce all the way around.”
“There was never a moment of meandering,” the attendee, who remained anonymous “to speak candidly about the private meeting,” told the outlet.
“He was focused. In fact, he received a loud ovation at the end,” the attendee added. “There was not one CEO who wasn’t impressed with what they heard from Trump. Everybody was clapping.”
In an astonishing show of bias and double standards, Sorkin was not called out for citing “a number of CEOS” without naming one, but The Daily Signal quoting an attendee who remained anonymous was slammed for remarks being from “Trump and his staff.”

Facts: 0%
Spin: 100%Put one of the CEOs on camera saying anything close to what Sorkin says. Just get one to speak out. Crickets.

Why is it only this guy reporting it? Where are the actual CEOs? Why aren’t they speaking out? This story is strange to me.
