The more Democrats and their media allies run interference for criminal aliens, knowing full well that many places do not or cannot indicate a suspect’s immigration status, the more we hear stories like the horrific broad daylight rape of a 13-year-old girl in New York City.
Fortunately, in this case, the illegal immigrant has been captured, according to Fox News, which cited an NYPD source.
The Ecuadorian man, identified as Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, entered the United States illegally in 2021, and he is accused of approaching two 13-year-olds, one a boy and one a girl, in a secluded wooded area at a popular Queens park. Armed with a machete, he allegedly tied the children together by the wrists and raped the girl, police said.

The attack happened Thursday at Kissena Park, and police were offering a $10,000 reward in the case after obtaining surveillance video showing the suspect on a bicycle.
New Yorkers, we need your help in tracking down this monster who held a child at knife point and sexually assaulted her in Kissena Park. If you know him, if you see him, call the NYPD at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) and help put him where he belongs, behind bars. All calls are… pic.twitter.com/iptbEjCG4x

He was recognized by neighbors, who held him down while calling 911.
“It was good police work,” Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant and professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, told Fox News Digital. “They got the drawings out of the suspect and his tattoo, and then were able to secure the surveillance photo and … some help from the public – but that’s how it’s supposed to work.”
Jeffrey Flores told the New York Post that he recognized the suspect and waited him out at a local deli.
“I seen him a few times — he comes to this store to buy stuff,” Flores said. “I waited for him. I waited the whole day to see if he would come up. He came at night.”
“He came in, we went to buy something,” he added. “I saw what he was trying to do, he looked back at me. I waited for him to come out the store and dragged him to the floor. A couple people helped me.”
The angry mob pounced on the accused rapist and, according to one woman, “beat the sh*t out of him.”
“He tried to fight back,” Flores told the newspaper. “He tried to run for his life but he couldn’t. Yeah, he admitted to it. He was saying, ‘Alright, alright, alright. Don’t hit me, don’t hit me.’”
“I got two little sisters and I’m about to have a daughter on the way,” he added. “I don’t like that. That’s abusive. That’s not right.”
People not only seem to be fed up with criminal behavior from illegal immigrants, but they appear to be willing to engage in vigilantism to get it under control.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
Why is this not grounds to immediately deport someone. Committing a violent crime against another person should be immediate Grounds for deportation.

This is what happens.
Vigilantes start to take matters in their own hands when their family, children and communities are in danger.
Right or wrong, it will happen.

I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing. I mean, obviously the justice system should work, but this is probably more effective at reducing crime.
