Doctor calls for investigation of Biden’s mental health after disturbing report

The Wall Street Journal raised eyebrows this week when it published an article alleging that many of those around President Joe Biden have witnessed his growing mental decline.

The report led one doctor to suggest that it is about time the president’s mental health is investigated.  

Insiders “uncomfortable” with Biden’s deterioration

According to the Journal, some 45 insiders say Biden often struggles to remain focused during meetings and frequently closes his eyes for long periods of time.

“You couldn’t be there and not feel uncomfortable,” one source was quoted as saying of the president’s performance during a meeting on aid to Ukraine.

“No one likes to admit or recognize the passage of time, whether it is me or the President of the United States, but in certain cases you have to,” Fischer stressed.

White House slams “false claims” from Republicans

The Journal noted in its article that White House spokesman Andrew Bates dismissed complaints regarding Biden’s mental state as coming from partisan actors.

“Congressional Republicans, foreign leaders and nonpartisan national-security experts have made clear in their own words that President Biden is a savvy and effective leader who has a deep record of legislative accomplishment,” the newspaper quoted Bates as saying.

“Now, in 2024, House Republicans are making false claims as a political tactic that flatly contradict previous statements made by themselves and their colleagues,” he insisted.

However, Fischer is not the only medical professional to say that Biden’s condition warrants more scrutiny, as former White House physician Ronny Jackson made a similar case when speaking with Fox News.

Former White House doctor thinks Biden may not be nominee

“The article’s just documenting what I’ve been saying all along: he’s not fit to be the commander-in-chief,” said Jackson, who now serves as Republican representative from Texas.

“He’s got significant issues, he shouldn’t have the job. You know, it’s a national security issue for us,” Jackson declared before speculating that revelations about the president’s state could be a sign Democrats are looking to nominate someone else.

“I think that the fact that it came out like this, and is so well sourced, tells me that this might be the left’s first attempt to start laying the groundwork to get rid of him,” the lawmaker mused.
