Delivering a message to the “Deep State,” Steve Bannon detailed just how far a former federal official and his ilk would go to “run” to avoid what’s coming, “after Donald John Trump takes his hand off the King James Bible.”

Like mutually assured destruction between nations, certain lines remained uncrossed with bipartisan agreement over concerns about how the other side might act when control switched hands. Now, as leftists fear-mongered over the possibility of former President Trump retaliating for the lawfare used against him, the president’s one-time White House adviser had a particular warning for former FBI Director Andrew McCabe.
“And you go ahead and run and run as far as you want,” he announced on his “War Room” podcast after reminding that the United States had extradition treaties with many foreign countries. “We’re going to come and get you, and it’s gonna be totally constitutional and totally by the rule of law.”
The message came as McCabe, under who the FBI had utilized the since-discredited Steele Dossier to get authorization through the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court to monitor the 2016 Trump campaign, had joined CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins to voice his concern about a potential future administration for the GOP leader that would figuratively see heads roll.
“These are torturous discussions with their family members about whether or not they will have to leave the country to avoid being unconstitutionally and illegally detained. People are actually worried about being thrown in jail or grabbed in some sort of extrajudicial detention,” said McCabe.
“They know the law they broke and here’s the thing, McCabe, we’re going to have access to everything. Access to everything. Let me repeat this. Access to everything…’These are torturous conversations.’ Well, if you didn’t do anything wrong these wouldn’t be torturous conversations,” argued Bannon.
“You know the crimes you’ve committed. You know what you’ve done. And that’s Lisa Monaco, Merrick Garland, all of them: FBI, DOJ, the intelligence agency, CIA. I said yesterday, if we’re the fascists and the brownshirts, why is it the Trump movement and MAGA — that we’re fighting to shut down FISA? We don’t want warrantless searches,” the host made clear. “We don’t want warrantless oversight of progressives or people in this country. If you’re an American citizen, we’re fighting for that.”
“The other side’s not. Why? Because they’re totally illegal Gestapo. McCabe, you were the deputy at the American Gestapo,” said Bannon. “And you’re going to suffer the consequences.”
The former Trump adviser himself was expected to report on July 1 to begin a four-month prison sentence for his 2022 contempt of Congress conviction.
Trump himself had said of the perceived political persecution during a recent interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, “It has to stop because otherwise, we’re not going to have a country. Look, when this election is over, based on what they’ve done, I would have every right to go after them, and it’s easy because Joe Biden and you see all the criminality, all of the money that’s going into the family and him, all of this money from China, from Russia, from Ukraine.”
“What they’re doing to me, if it’s going to continue, we’re really not going to have much of a country left. It’s really, it is weaponization. You call it lawfare, you call it — some people call it just warfare — but it is weaponization of the election,” he went on to add. “And we’re talking about, I think, the most important election in the history of our country. This will go down, I believe, as the most important election in the history of our country. We can’t have this stuff go on.”
Bannon had also called out corporate media’s involvement as he zeroed in on Collins’s reaction and said, “That is the Deep State. That’s the enemies of his country that have taken over this apparatus on CNN with their number one host, Kaitlin Collins, who’s the big show over there, and she how surprised she was. But she couldn’t even hide it.”
