Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, is facing multiple charges involving a firearm that could land him in prison and the case against him isn’t looking favorable.
The situation is so bad that Biden’s best hope of escape is via “jury nullification” which happens when a defendant is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt but jurors disregard their oath to find the defendant not guilty.
In other words, if there are jurists who simply want to see Hunter Biden walk free regardless of the facts of the case, they can break their oaths and President Biden’s son will not face any consequences for his gun crimes.
Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley explained during an interview with Fox News’s Judge Jeanine Pirro, “While Hunter could always throw in the towel before the start of testimony, there is currently no discernible strategy beyond hoping that a pending case in the Supreme Court might undermine the indictment. There may also be another possible strategy in play: jury nullification.”
It isn’t crazy to think that Hunter Biden could escape justice via such an unusual path after what we have seen from the justice system.
It’s become apparent that there are two tiers of justice in America today. The lower tier is for those who don’t hold the right politics and they will face the full force of the law. The upper tier belongs to those who have the right politics and they have infinite ways to escape justice.
Hunter Biden, being the son of President Joe Biden, has everything in his favor. But the charges against him are really strong and should Biden walk, it’ll further expose the corruption in the justice system.
