“The View” co-host Ana Navarro made a bold prediction on Monday. She said Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., won’t be former President Trump’s VP nominee. Navarro hinted she knows secrets about Rubio’s past.
“I don’t think it’s going to be Marco Rubio,” Navarro stated. She criticized him harshly. “Marco has embarrassed himself to such a point. I mean he’s little in stature and little in principles,” she said on “Behind the Table,” the podcast for “The View.”
When asked if Rubio would appear on “The View,” Navarro hinted at hidden secrets. “Maybe if he thinks it helps his chances to get into a fight with me and the other women on ‘The View’ he would, but he knows I know where his skeletons are hidden,” she revealed. “I’ve known him since we were kids.”
Navarro’s family moved to Florida from Nicaragua in 1980. Like Rubio, she grew up in Miami, Florida. She still lives there.
Navarro said she’s open to debates with guests who come in “good faith.” Recently, she slammed Rubio for comparing Trump’s New York guilty verdict to Cuba’s trials after Fidel Castro’s takeover.
“How dare you, Marco, how dare you?” Navarro exclaimed. “Fifty-six hundred Cubans, at least, were shot in front of firing squads. Another 1,200 were shot and died because of extrajudicial hearings. How dare you use their name in vain so that you can suck up to this man,” she said, clearly enraged. “I know you want to be his vice president.”
Rubio is among several potential VP candidates for Trump. Others include Sen. Tim Scott, Gov. Sarah Sanders, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Gov. Doug Burgum, Gov. Kristi Noem, and Sen. JD Vance.
Trump is still deciding on his running mate. He might wait until the July Republican National Convention in Milwaukee to announce his pick.
