The Left is never going to let a crisis go to waste.
Now their globalists are plotting their next scheme to seize control.
And Ron DeSantis is trying to stop Joe Biden from making this scary globalist power grab.
World Health Organization fighting for a global pandemic treaty to usurp national sovereignty
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis rose to national fame fighting back against the overreach of the public health elite during the pandemic.
He is determined to never let a situation like that happen again.
The World Health Organization (WHO) is trying to ratify a Pandemic Agreement that would be an unprecedented power grab.
Now the organization wants more power to coordinate a global response to the next pandemic.
The last one exposed that the WHO and its leader, Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, are puppets of China.
America entering into the Pandemic Agreement would mean that unelected globalist bureaucrats at the WHO could use emergency powers during the next pandemic to call for censorship on social media, restrict travel, and impose restrictions on day-to-day life.
Republican Governors and officials warn the Biden administration about the Pandemic Agreement
President Joe Biden’s administration signaled that the United States was willing to sign the WHO Pandemic Agreement last year.
DeSantis was one of 24 Republican Governors who warned the Biden administration not to sign the agreement.
“The objective of these instruments is to empower the WHO, particularly its uncontrollable Director-General, with the authority to restrict the rights of U.S. citizens, including freedoms such as speech, privacy, travel, choice of medical care, and informed consent, thus violating our Constitution’s core principles,” the governors said. “These agreements would seek to elevate the WHO from an advisory body to a global authority in public health.”
They pointed out that the Pandemic Agreement gives the WHO Director-General “unilateral power” to issue a “public health emergency of international concern” for any countries who are signatories.
“Additional concerns arise regarding the establishment of a global surveillance infrastructure and requirements for member states to censor speech related to public health, potentially facilitating the proliferation of biological weapons,” the Republican Governors added.
DeSantis was joined by Republican Governors from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming.
All 49 Republican Senators and 22 Republican state Attorney General also sent letters warning Biden not to sign the Pandemic Agreement.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) filed a lawsuit to prevent the Biden administration from entering the WHO treaty.
“We filed a lawsuit to try to stop it because the Biden administration cannot obligate us to follow health regulations and guidelines by international bodies,” Paxton told Just the News, No Noise, an investigative journalism news show.
The opposition to the Pandemic Agreement is overwhelmingly from Republicans at every level of government.
Paxton said that states should control their public health decisions.
“We all believe that the authority to give that control to an international organization……certainly the states have never agreed to this,” Paxton said. “And certainly, we don’t believe the federal government has the power to impose that on us.”
The WHO Pandemic Agreement is one of the most ambitious globalist power grabs yet.
