Russian President Vladimir Putin’s administration has issued an ominous threat to the West amidst reports of Ukraine using U.S.-donated missiles on its soil.
Knewz.com has learned that the backlash came at a time the defending forces allegedly opened up on Russia’s far western city of Belgorod with M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS Missile).
According to the Russian State-controlled newspaper, RIA Novosti (via Reuters), Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov released a statement on Monday 3, June, saying:
“We warn American politicians against their miscalculations, which could have fatal consequences. For unknown reasons, they underestimate the seriousness of the resistance they may receive. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly spoken out on this topic.”
The attack that either coincided with or sparked this tirade took place on the same day Monday June 3.

As a nod to the latter, Putin blowhard Evgeniy Poddubny took to his Telegram account and posted about a HIMARS strike and made reference to “the first recorded use of HIMARS MLRS during an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Belgorod.”
He quoted a Russian correspondent who claimed that Russian air defense forces had successfully repelled “enemy attacks”.
In another update, he said “the Russian Army’s air defense crews destroyed more than ten missiles in the sky over the Belgorod region,” and claimed that “the combat use of this type of weapon is not possible without Western military specialists.”
Kyiv which has not yet responded to Russia’s allegations, received permission from United States President Joe Biden to use U.S. weapons on their foe’s territory in a limited capacity on Friday, May 31.

Antony Blinken confirmed this in a press address on the same day.
He said: “As you’ve heard, he’s (Biden) approved the use of our weapons for that […] purpose (Russian forces building up the border and attacking Ukraine).”
Blinken told the press that Biden’s decision followed a formal request by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Ukraine came to us and asked for the authorization to use weapons that we’re providing to defend” against increased aggression in the Kharkiv region.
“Going forward, we’ll continue to do what we’ve been doing, which is as necessary […] adapt and adjust,” Blinked concluded (via Yahoo News Video)

Leading up to the decision Knewz.com reported that France’s President Emmanuel Macron had also telegraphed that he was in favor of Ukraine using NATO weapons behind Russian lines.
In a joint press conference with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Macron said: “The Russian forces are on Russian territory […] just over the border [attacking] Ukrainian territory.”
“The front line is more or less the border line, and if you cannot attack the Russian forces on the other side of the front line because they are on the other side of the border, then, of course, you really reduce the ability of the Ukrainian forces to defend themselves,” he explained.
Putin, at the time, caught wind of the request and threatened the west with all-out war.
