Testifying before Congress in January, Dr. Anthony Fauci finally began telling the truth after four long years of spouting lies galore.
This has since been confirmed via a full transcript of his testimony that was released Friday by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The transcript shows, among other things, that when asked about the Biden administration’s 6-foot social distancing rule, Fauci admitted that he’d pushed for it without having any studies to back it.
“Do you recall when discussions regarding a 6-foot [social distancing] threshold began,” a member of Congress asked him.
“You know, I don’t recall,” Fauci replied. “It sort of just appeared. I don’t recall, like, a discussion of whether it should be five or six or whatever.”
“Did you see any studies that supported six feet?” a member of Congress then pressed.
“I was not aware of studies [like] that,” Fauci replied. “In fact, that would be a very difficult study to do.”
You don’t say …
✔️SOCIAL DISTANCING: The “6 feet apart” social distancing recommendation forced on Americans by federal health officials was arbitrary and not based on science.

The same answers were trotted out when the infamous doctor was asked about rules pertaining to masking.
“Do you recall reviewing any studies or data supporting masking for children?” a member of Congress asked him.
“You know, I might have, but I don’t recall specifically that I did,” Fauci said. “I might have.”
Uh-huh..
The member of Congress then asked Fauci whether he was aware of any of the myriad of studies that have shown that masked children suffered learning loss and speech and development issues.
“No,” Fauci predictably replied. “But I believe that there are a lot of conflicting studies too, that there are those that say, yes, there is an impact, and there are those that say there’s not. I still think that’s up in the air.”
Actually, no, it’s not “up in the air.”
Mask mandates on children lead to learning loss that harms early childhood development. That is why I joined my colleagues in demanding answers from Head Start on what factors they considered when imposing a mask mandate on children as young as 2 years old. https://t.co/k1Kod5DZjL

Next, Fauci was asked whether he believed “mandating vaccines can result in some hesitancy.”
In response, the doctor spouted a long diatribe about the need to study this otherwise obvious issue.
“I think one of the things that we really need to do after the fact … we really need to take a look at the psyche of the country, have maybe some social-type studies to figure out, does the mandating of vaccines in the way the country’s mental framework is right now, does that actually cause more people to not want to get vaccinated, or not?” he said.
“I don’t know. But I think that’s something we need to know,” he added.
Indeed, it doesn’t seem like he knows much at all about anything …
✔️FEIGNED IGNORANCE: Dr. Fauci claimed he “did not recall” numerous issues & events surrounding the pandemic more than 100 times.

To his credit, he did at least know one thing — that there was nothing wrong with former President Donald Trump’s allegedly “xenophobic,” COVID-era travel bans.
“Did you agree with President Trump’s decision to restrict travel from China?” a member of Congress asked him.
“I agreed with it, but I said we have to be careful because sometimes when you do restrictions they have negative consequences in that you don’t have open access to help or even information,” Fauci replied. “But fundamentally, I agreed at that time, since we had almost no infections that we knew of in our country, that at least a temporary restriction would be important.”
“Did you also agree with the EU travel restriction?” Congress then asked.
“I agreed with the suggestion that that be done, yes,” Fauci replied.
“Did you agree with the U.K. travel restriction?” Congress asked.
“Yes, I did,” Fauci responded.
Fauci is slated to testify during a public hearing next Monday.
