People are getting fed up with the radical Left.
They especially don’t like corporations pushing a leftist agenda.
Now a country music star partnered with one “woke” company and immediately regretted it.
People tolerate corporations because of the goods and services they provide, not because of their political messaging.
“Woke” companies have created massive backlash, the most obvious example being Bud Light.
The company tumbled from the most popular beer brand in America to an afterthought after its partnership with controversial TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Now Planet Fitness is in the crosshairs for allowing biological men to go into the women’s locker room based on their so-called gender identity.
McGraw’s mistake
Nevertheless, country music star Tim McGraw announced a partnership with Planet Fitness, and it did not go well.
Popular online account Libs of TikTok responded, “Country Singer Tim McGraw announced a new partnership with Planet Fitness. Tim has 3 daughters. [Tim] do you feel comfortable letting your daughter use PF knowing a man can expose himself to her and PF will defend the man because that’s their policy?”

Libs of TikTok was referring to an incident at a Planet Fitness in Alaska where a woman named Patricia Silva filmed a man shaving in the sink in the women’s bathroom.
Silva had her membership revoked and Planet Fitness announced, “As the home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment. Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self-reported gender identity. The member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy that prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room, which resulted in their membership being terminated.”
The incident caused major backlash for Planet Fitness.
The company is likely turning to McGraw to help rebuild its image.
However, McGraw was getting slammed in his comments.
He was finally forced to delete his promotional announcement.
Libs of TikTok reported, “After hiding comments, getting ratioed, and blocking anyone pointing out Planet Fitness’ policies allowing men in women’s locker rooms, Tim McGraw just deleted the tweet where he announced a partnership with Planet Fitness.”
Either McGraw did not know or did not care about the heat that was on Planet Fitness.
One online user commented, “Wow. . .I grew up listening to you. I respected you. You have daughters. I have 2 daughters. Why wouldn’t you want to protect them from predators? Why would you support a business that’s allowing men to invade women’s spaces? Take showers and run around naked? What if that was your wife and children exposed to it?”
Another responded, “Seriously, you had to partner with a company who doesn’t give a damn about actual women’s safety. So disappointing.”
Planet Fitness taking it on the chin
Apparently the backlash to Planet Fitness has been felt by the company.
Chief Financial Officer Tom Fitzgerald recently reported, “The first part of March was pretty good, and then once social media sort of blew up over our policy issue, we definitely saw a change in the results in the back half of March. Joins and cancels were fairly significantly affected. The good news is we’ve seen the joins rebound, but cancels have remained elevated.”
More and more people are divorcing themselves from companies that flout “woke” values.
