Kentucky State Police have arrested the parents of an 8-month-old baby girl who could not be found when they conducted a welfare check this week.
The agency did not say who called for the welfare check, but execution of a search warrant at the Reynolds Station home did not locate Miya Tucker.
The infant’s parents, 29-year-old Tesla Tucker and 30-year-old Cage C. Rudd, were arrested on drug charges and abandonment of a minor.
Police said baby Miya has brown hair and green eyes and was believed to have last been in the care of Rudd and Tucker.
Police have now opened a missing child investigation and ask anyone with information to call them at 270.826.3312.
