In a new low, a harpy tried to compel an unleashed dog into New York City traffic. The video is going viral on TikTok and Twitter.
The same New York “Karen” who was filmed harassing people riding skateboards and bikes for no discernible reason was recently caught on film trying multiple times to lure someone’s dog into a busy road to get hit because the dog was not on a leash.
Apparently, the woman used a racial insult toward the Asian dog owner that she refused to repeat once the camera was running.
“Have you never heard of a leash in the city?” the woman says in the clip. “We’ll wait for the police to clear it up.”
“Which country should I go back to, Karen? Say it,” he said. “Cat got your tongue?”
Although New York does require all dogs to be on leashes in public spaces and unleashed dogs can and do cause problems, the repeated act of trying to lure someone’s pet to be hit by a car and very likely killed was so objectively awful that a random bystander stopped what she was doing to tell this Karen off.
“You’re actually instigating a dog to go to the middle of a highway? What kind of problem do you have, lady?” the female bystander asks. “You insult someone of Asian descent … Why don’t you go back [to] where you came from? Who are you? Leave people alone.”
Later, Karen is spotted talking to an NYPD officer in their car, but they don’t appear to think the issue is serious enough to warrant getting out of the vehicle.

Nobody can seem to figure out what this woman’s problem is other than apparently having appointed herself to police the city on minor issues, causing safety problems wherever she goes.
