Americans are fed-up with woke corporations.
Someone is finally fighting back.
And now Disney is about to end up at the Supreme Court for one awful reason.
As Liberal Hack Watch reports:
Disney used to stand for entertainment the whole family could enjoy.
Not any longer.
And Disney went woke and how it backfired will have you grinning from ear-to-ear.
America First Legal filed a blockbuster lawsuit against Disney alleged hiring practices that
discriminated against white men, Christians, and Jews.
“It is sad and tragic that a company whose name was once synonymous with wholesome and
charming childhood fantasies is now dedicated to spreading divisive bigotry. We urge Disney to
cease and desist its unlawful and destructive conduct at once,” a statement from America First
Legal President Stephen Miller read.
America First Legal claimed leaked documents and published statements on Disney’s websites
showed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs – which seek to impose a racial spoils
system to even out for America supposedly being an institutionally racist country – established
an unlawful quota system in hiring.
“It is patently unlawful to consider racial, ethnic, and sex-based characteristics in hiring,
training, compensation, and promotion,” the lawsuit read. “Decades of case law have held that
policies that impose racial balancing or quotas in employment, training, or recruitment, such as
those presented on Disney’s websites, are prohibited.”
The DEI rot at Disney runs deep.
Alan Ng published a multi-part series called “The D-Files.”
In one essay Ng described how Disney executives sought to achieve a 50/50 gender split on
animation by torturing white animators until they quit.
According to Ng, Disney stopped hiring animators from topflight schools like CalArts and instead
looked to social media sites like Tumblr which operate like a hive mind for woke identity
politics.
Disney began hiring from Tumblr based on applicants’ social media profiles containing the
correct woke buzzwords.
“What mattered was that your social media profile checked the right boxes (i.e., ‘female’ and
‘not White’). Today, that box has revised to ‘female-presenting,’” Ng reported.
Disney would then give the unqualified female Tumblr animators the prize scenes and demote
white animators to more mundane projects.
But that was only step number one in Disney’s plan, according to Ng.
Ng claimed Disney set out to make life at work so intolerable for their white animators that
they would quit in frustration allowing Disney to reach their DEI quotas.
“Disney could not reach 50/50 male/female equity without clearing out the ‘Old White Guys.’
They needed to go, and outright firing them was not an option. The tactic was simple: first,
exasperate, and then attack,” Ng added.
“It started with ‘demotions’ for the ‘Old White Guys’ in an attempt to demoralize them. The
targets were given mundane and inconsequential scenes to work on, regardless of their vast
experience…scraps for the dogs. Second, if they questioned or complained about their
assignment, they were given impossible scenes to work on in an impossible amount of time.
When the work was turned in, the new emboldened recruits harshly criticized their work to the
point of humiliation. The goal was to make life so miserable that they’d quit or be forced to fall
in line with the new normal. If that didn’t work, something worse was waiting in the wings,” Ng
continued.
Ever since the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action in college admissions, legal
observers wondered how long it would take groups to challenge DEI programs in corporate
hiring.
That day is here, and Disney is test-case number one.
