Joe Biden’s Presidency has been an absolute catastrophe for the country.
His failed agenda has created the biggest public health crisis confronting Americans.
Now Florida’s Attorney General is going to war to stop this tragic failure by Joe Biden.
Fentanyl has become the biggest public health crisis in the country
President Joe Biden made the tragic decision to open the southern border during his first day in the Oval Office.
The Biden border crisis led to a surge in drug overdose deaths primarily from the synthetic opioid fentanyl.
Mexican drug cartels manufacture the deadly drug on an industrial scale south of the border with chemical precursors from China.
The wide-open southern border has allowed them to flood the country with fentanyl.
Drug overdose deaths, primarily fentanyl, crossed the grim 100,000 a year mark for the first time during Biden’s Presidency.
Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-49.
Biden refuses to seal the border even though it is inflicting unimaginable suffering on the country from the fentanyl crisis.
States are being forced to step up and fill the breach since the federal government refuses to do the job.
Florida confiscates a staggering amount of fentanyl during its fight against the deadly drug
Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody (R) said that Sunshine State led the country in fentanyl seizures based on data from a new report.
More than 115 million fentanyl pills from Mexico, were seized by law enforcement nationwide in 2023 according to a study from the International Journal of Drug Policy.
In 2020, 4 million Mexican fentanyl pills were seized nationally during former President Donald Trump’s last full year in office.
“This damning report shows the deadly impact of Biden’s wide-open border—record-smashing amounts of fentanyl flooding in and an extremely-high death toll to accompany the massive influx of this Mexican poison,” Moody said in a press release.
Florida led the way to get fentanyl off the streets with the state’s tough-on-crime policies.
The Sunshine State led the country in seizures with increased interdiction operations against Mexican drug cartels operating in the state.
“In Florida, we are fighting back the death and destruction emanating from Biden’s border crisis—leading the nation in fentanyl seizures and taking Biden to court in an effort to force him to do his job: close the border and protect the American people,” Moody said.
The Florida Attorney General’s Office said that between 2017 to 2023 state law enforcement participated in 2,089 fentanyl seizure operations.
A report from Biden’s Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) found that seven out of every ten fentanyl pills contain a lethal dose.
Now it is increasingly being found in other drugs exposing unsuspecting users to it.
In 2022, Moody said that law enforcement in Florida confiscated enough fentanyl to kill everyone in the state.
Fentanyl has become the biggest public health crisis in the country during the Biden Presidency.
Florida and other states have become the tip of the spear against this menace plaguing the country.
