A clip has re-emerged showing Star Wars: The Acolyte actress Amandla Stenberg saying that “white people crying was the goal” of one of her previous movies.
Star Wars: The Acolyte (if anyone still cares at this point) is part of the ruined Star Wars franchise and is being broadcast by Disney+ at the moment as a television series.
Stenberg, one of the ‘stars’ of the new series, is receiving fresh attention off the back of a clip that originally aired in 2018 and is now going viral again on X.
During an appearance on The Daily Show, Stenberg spoke to Trevor Noah about the purpose of a film she appeared in called The Hate U Give.
“When people watch The Hate U Give, what do you want them to walk away with because I know everyone has a slightly different feeling,” Noah asked Stenberg.
“Well, I mean, white people crying actually was the goal,” she responded, to which Noah burst out laughing.
Respondents on X responded by asserting that the comment was yet another example of how anti-white rhetoric has become completely normalized.
Aside from Stenberg’s previous comments there is however yet another reason not to watch the new Star Wars series.
Apparently, it’s the “gayest” Star Wars ever, which is now basically a euphemism meaning it will be utterly terrible.
