Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has one big defender in the organization amid the leftists swarming over the expression of his Christian views.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has been savaged after he defended traditional values and took a swipe at President Joe Biden during his commencement address at a Catholic college last weekend, a big no-no in the current environment of institutionalized hostility for Christians.
But Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, backed the embattled player over what, in a saner time, would have been a perfectly acceptable expression of free speech but now is deemed as impermissible by the left-wing cultural czars who ruthlessly police opinions in Joe Biden’s America.

On Friday’s edition of “Fox & Friends,” host Steve Doocy caught up with Hunt to ask what the family’s response was to the faux controversy about Butker’s remarks which the left-wing media has been fanning the flames over.
“Well, I can only speak from my own experience which is I’ve had the most incredible mom who had the ability to stay home and be with us as kids growing up,” she told Doocy. “And I understand there are women out there who can’t make that decision, but for me in my life, I know it was very formative in shaping me and my siblings to be who we are.”
“So you understand what he was talking about?” Doocy asked.
“For sure,” Hunt responded. “And I really respect Harrison and his Christian faith and what he’s accomplished on and off the field.”
Gracie’s mother, Tavia Hunt, also appeared to express support for Butker and his Christian worldview.

“I believe finding a spouse who loves and honors you as or before himself and raising a family together is one of the greatest blessings this world has to offer,” she said in a post to Instagram.
“Countless highly educated women devote their lives to nurturing and guiding their children. Someone disagreeing with you doesn’t make them hateful; it simply means they have a different opinion,” Hunt added.
Butker has faced demands for punishment including a petition for the Chiefs to boot him off the team. The NFL, in typical cowardly fashion, threw him under the bus.
“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” NFL’s senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer Jonathan Beane said in a statement. “His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”
While Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce – a media fixture since he hooked up with Taylor Swift – has so far been mum on the ridiculous outrage over Butker’s remarks, Chris Jones, the defensive game wrecker had his kicker’s back.
“I love you @buttkicker7! My brotha,” the All-Pro defensive lineman wrote on X, responding to the petition by the leftist Change.org petition demanding that Butker be kicked off of the Chiefs roster.

“Negative,” Jones responded when asked by an X user about whether he’d delete the post.
It is currently unclear whether Butker will face disciplinary action from the NFL over his use of free speech.
