Former President Donald J. Trump told libertarians they could either get behind him or be happy with three percent of the vote, which may have been an overly optimistic number.
Trump along with third-party upstart Robert F. Kennedy Jr. both appeared at the Libertarian Party’s convention in Washington, D.C. over the weekend with the presumptive GOP nominee getting a rude reception and the scion of the political royal family being completely humiliated.
Neither of them came away with the party’s nomination but the person who did, may as well be a member of the most far-left elements of the Democratic party, and for all anyone knows, maybe he is.
Leftists successfully took over the libertarians and on Sunday, they planted their flag – one of the familiar multicolored ones that have become a symbol of an intolerant strain of American fascism.
Getting the nod for the 2024 LP presidential nominee is Chase Oliver who for what he lacks in name recognition, more than makes up for with his stance on issues very near and dear to the hearts of Democrats.

Oliver, a homosexual former Democrat and supporter of Barack Obama who has described himself as “armed and gay,” is pro-drag queen story hour, pro-open borders, anti-cop, pro-censorship, an Antifa and Black Lives Matter sympathizer, and is a COVID mask mandate pusher to boot.
He is also anti-Trump, which may have been his biggest selling point to convention attendees who lustily booed the former president when he spoke on Saturday night.
There is no need to unify with an authoritarian like Trump.
Voters deserve something better than that.

The candidate emerged as the winner after several grueling rounds of voting, beating out the more traditionalist Mises Caucus candidate and aligning that party with the hard left on many major issues, a result that caps off the painful decline of libertarian politics since the high water mark of the Ron Paul movement.

The odd choice would seem to benefit Trump who on Sunday, said that he was confident that he’ll get the “majority of the libertarian votes” from libertarians.
Oliver’s win already has some fleeing the party, including one popular libertarian who lamented the party’s new direction and said he’s voting for Trump.
“Tonight, the Libertarian Party nominated a gay race communist for president,” Jeremy Kauffman announced. “With those choices, I’m standing with Donald Trump.”
After the party made its pick, Oliver’s views were shared on X with his resurfaced posts getting new attention:

Libertarian nominee Chase Oliver also celebrated President Trump being wrongly SILENCED on Twitter and other platforms.

“In reality, the Libertarian Party is a strange combination of criminal sympathizers, drug pushers, drug addicts, and people who celebrate a hedonistic lifestyle. It’s not about liberty, it’s about license: Doing whatever you want with no responsibilities and no consequences. Not only is this deeply unpopular, it’s also damaging to our country and completely stupid. You’ll find libertarians taking the weirdest views, from getting rid of pedophile laws to making all drugs legal. That’s what the Libertarian Party has become,” observed conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.
When it comes to a real choice this November, the Republican Party is the only game in town, the Trump version of it.
