Former President Donald Trump has cautioned the American citizens that failing to cast their votes in favor of him during the upcoming November presidential election would result in the loss of their nation.
“The most important day in the history of our country is going to be November 5,” Trump said. “Our country is going bad. And it’s going to be changed on November 5, and if it’s not changed, we’re not going to have a country anymore.”
During the interview, Trump touched upon various topics, including the merger between Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) and Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC), a well-established shell company. This merger sets the stage for the former president’s business to become publicly traded. If Trump were to win the presidency in November, he would become the first American president to hold a significant position in a publicly traded company, with a 58 percent ownership stake. It is worth noting that Trump has previously made stocks available for purchase. One of the key points of discussion during the interview was the merger itself and the introduction of Truth Social, the former president’s social media platform.
Kilmeade asked Trump, “You probably got an extra $5 billion in your checking account, What does that mean to you?”
“Truth has been amazing, Trump said.
“It gave me a voice. And when I was terminated from Twitter, it was vicious, and then all of a sudden I didn’t have a voice. And now it’s public. And the stock has gone through the roof. And really this is, I think in the true sense, this is really a great sign of where the people in this country stand. I view it as a poll. And I call it the voice. It’s the voice of America. It’s my voice,” Trump added.
Trump received more positive news last week when a recent poll revealed that he is currently ahead of President Joe Biden in Texas by twice the margin of victory he achieved four years ago in the race for Texas’ 40 electoral votes. Furthermore, according to the Marist College survey released this month, Republican Senator Ted Cruz is leading his Democratic opponent, Representative Colin Allred, by six points in a crucial Senate contest. This is significant as the GOP aims to regain the majority in the chamber during the upcoming November elections.
According to the Marist poll, among registered voters, the former president maintains an 11-point lead over his successor in the White House (55%–44%). However, it is worth noting that Trump’s advantage narrows to 7 points (53%–46%) among those who state that they will definitely cast a ballot in the November election.
“Independents, who Biden carried by 6 percentage points in 2020, now break for Trump. Trump receives 56% of Texas independents to 41% for Biden,” the release from Marist highlights.
