For MONTHS, there has been endless speculation about who former President Donald Trump will select as his Vice-Presidential candidate.
So many names were on the short list that even that grew long.
One of those names was former GOP candidate and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
However, now, we have news that confirms what some never saw coming.
Donald Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, where he said everything, we need to know.
When it comes to Nikki Haley – she is OUT.
Haley is not being considered as a V.P. candidate.
Trump wrote on Truth Social that the former governor is “not under consideration for the V.P. slot, but I wish her well!”
Well, there you have it, folks!
It looks like Nikki Haley will not see her day in the White House any time in the near future.
It is really shocking considering the fact that a large majority of voters believed Nikki Haley would without a doubt take up an offer from Trump if he asked.
Whenever interviewers asked her the question and fished for an answer about a V.P. offer from Trump, she side stepped the question, never giving a straight “yes” or “no” answer.
Other candidates like former GOP candidate and Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis did exactly that – DeSantis made it loud and clear that he would NOT accept an offer from Trump.
He was running to be the next president not the next vice president.
Haley refusing to take a stance similar to DeSantis could have been, without a doubt, a tactic to leaving the door just cracked enough that it would not seem odd if she did decide to accept an offer from Trump.
However, it has also been abundantly clear for months that Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., has MASSIVE issues with Haley.
In a past interview with Newsmax, Donald Trump Jr. was asked about the possibility of Nikki Haley joining his father’s campaign.
Trump Jr. said he would “would go to great lengths to make sure that that doesn’t happen.”
“She’s a puppet of the establishment in Washington D.C. She’s the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class, because they want control — no different than academia at Harvard and using, you know, their billions to exercising influence,” he also said.
So, are we really surprised that Trump decided not to bring one of his son’s nemeses into his campaign? No.
That being said, who do you think Trump will select as his V.P. candidate?
