Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appears to have suddenly decided to prove former President Donald Trump right in that he is a radical left ideologue.
In a recent episode of his podcast, which featured John Boyd Jr., the founder of the National Black Farmers Association, RFK Jr. vowed to give black farmers $5 billion in reparations should he win the 2024 presidential election.
“When I’m in the White House… I’m going to get rid of those people in USDA and get that money,” Kennedy said.
“That $5 billion is not money, that is an entitlement,” he added. “It’s money that was a loan that black farmers were entitled to way back when and was stolen from them through discrimination. It was given to every other farmer, but if you were black, you wouldn’t get it, and that’s wrong. I don’t think anybody who believes in the values of this country thinks that that’s a good idea.”
RFK Jr. says the first week he is in the White House he will pay $5 billion in reparations to Black farmers:

Interestingly, his proposal was part of President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, aka the COVID-19 Stimulus Package, which a court reportedly struck down as unconstitutional when white farmers pushed back.
On his campaign website, Kennedy vows to “end USDA discrimination against Black farmers, and protect current landowners from further land loss.”
The candidate also promises “increased access to investment capital for a robust, self-sustaining Black business infrastructure,” along with “low interest microloans to invest in approved business plans with flexible repayment terms.” He also vows to ” push to make student debt dischargeable in bankruptcy and move to cancel student debt.” On criminal justice, RFK Jr. promises to “expand reintroduction to the community for non-violent offenders.”
Boyd, a fourth-generation farmer from Mecklenburg County, Virginia, appeared on Fox News earlier this year to blast the Biden administration.
“Quite frankly, we’re facing extinction today,” he said. “Every time I look at the news, there’s another commitment to help foreign countries. We probably helped Ukraine, probably $100 billion or so, and we can’t get debt relief for American citizens in this country.”
“We’re going to be — and I’m speaking as the head of the National Black Farmers Association — there are not going to be any farmers left if we don’t hurry up and take action in this country to protect farmers in this country,” Boyd added. “I mean, put some real laws in place to protect America’s farmers.”
