Top Democrat election lawyer Marc Elias celebrated a recent FEC ruling allowing federal candidates and officeholders to solicit unlimited contributions from state ballot initiatives. This means that Biden could “work” with any “dark money” group focused on a state abortion initiative in November’s election and raise unlimited amounts from anonymous donors, who could be foreign. Elias seems to have been anticipating this ruling as his dark money group, the Democracy Forward Foundation, has lined up American Academy of Pediatrics state chapter locations in the critical election states of Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The American Academy of Pediatrics previously released a statement titled “The Importance of Access to Abortion.” Florida has an abortion issue on the ballot in November. As President Trump’s lead continues growing in the polls, the Left seems determined to unleash unlimited dark money to steal the election from Trump in November.
Elias Law Group released a statement on May 6th reading, “Key Takeaway: Last week, the Federal Election Commission (“FEC”) approved a request by Elias Law Group that authorizes federal candidates and officeholders to solicit unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, and labor unions, among others, for state ballot initiatives.” The statement continues, “This means that federal candidates and officeholders may solicit funds without regard to amount limitations or source restrictions, at any time, for ballot measure committees.” Elias’ statement ends, “We look forward to discussing this opinion with you and how it affects your planned activities.”
One of Elias’s “dark money“ organizations is called the Democracy Forward Foundation, an organization whose statement reads,“ On January 6, 2021, violent rioters and insurrectionists executed a planned siege on our nation’s Capitol. Beyond that horrific day—in statehouses, courtrooms, and communities across the country—we see threats to democracy and the wellbeing of Americans.”
The Democracy Forward Foundation has built quite an interesting list of clients, including American Academy of Pediatrics state chapter locations in the critical election states of Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
AAP’s statement on abortion reads, “AAP supports the right of an adolescent to access an abortion to terminate an unintended pregnancy. Adolescents who are facing an unplanned pregnancy deserve access to medically accurate, unbiased, developmentally appropriate information about abortion, and support in obtaining this care if they so choose. AAP policy affirms that it is an adolescent’s right to decide the outcome of their pregnancy and the people who should be involved. Pediatric health clinicians should encourage adolescents to engage their parents/caregivers or a trusted adult in their decision-making around pregnancy and abortion; however, if adolescents choose not to do so, their decision should be respected.”
Loomer posted on this development, “@marceelias is celebrating after the Federal Election Commission @FEC approved a request by Elias Law Group that authorizes federal candidates and officeholders to solicit unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, and labor unions, among others, for state ballot initiatives. The decision means that Unlimited dark money from foreign entities with no cap can now go directly to the state ballot initiatives. Where is the Republican National Committee on this? Asleep at the wheel. @ChairmanWhatley The only ballot initiative this will be used for is ABORTION by the Democrats. Republicans don’t have any ballot initiatives that this no cap fundraising ruling will benefit. This could possibly result in the Democrats taking the 2024 election.”
The Left’s election interference legal scams did not hurt President Trump in the polls. Due to this, it seems Democrats will now try another scam to “get Trump,” which is unleashing dark foreign money.
