(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Saturday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said that he would be getting the university counter-protesters Chick-fil-A following the incident at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
Graham took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise the fraternity brothers who had protected the U.S. flag during the pro-Palestine protest at UNC as they had stood up for the United States against the pro-Hamas demonstrators. Graham argued that these actions were making him hopeful about the next generation and the love they have for the U.S. He continued by saying that as a way of thanking them for protecting the flag, he was sending them Chick-fil-A.
On Tuesday during the protest at UNC the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity members had stopped the U.S. flag from touching the ground during the protest. The video of the members holding the flag up while the activists were throwing things at them has since gone viral.
Following the emergence of the video, a GoFundMe campaign was started with the sole purpose of throwing a “Rager” for the fraternity members who had protected the flag. The GoFundMe has raised over $500,000 since it was first created.
On Thursday, Country music artist John Rich stated that he would be willing to play during their rager for free. He made the offer to the fraternity during an appearance on NewsNation’s “On Balance” with host Leland Vittert. As Rich stated the fraternity had responded to his offer and they would be trying to make it happen.
