A number of individuals from within the Republican Party have now made a call for President Joe Biden to be given a drug test before the first presidential debate he is scheduled to have with presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump next month, and I completely agree with this requirement. You should too. All one has to do is look back at his performance during the State of the Union address earlier this year.
Biden was unusually alert and fiery that evening, especially when you compare it to many of his other public appearances in recent years. Most of the time, the president has the appearance of someone suffering from dementia, a sort of glazed over look in his eyes, lots of wandering around aimlessly, incoherent babble, and falling here, there, and everywhere. He can barely string two words together in a sentence most days.
And yet, Biden was on fire during the SOTU address, leaving many to wonder if he was given some sort of medication designed to stimulate him and increase his alertness, hence the call for a pre-debate drug test. The American people deserve to know if Biden is taking substances to enhance his function as that speaks volumes about his fitness for duty.
According to the Daily Wire, South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott was recently asked during an appearance on ‘Sunday Morning Futures’ if he believed Biden should take a drug test before the debate. He responded by saying, “Why not?”
“The truth of the matter is if you saw the State of the Union and you watched that performance, it was surreal. There was something going on, and if we could find the truth of what it was, we’re all better off,” Scott went on to say during the segment. “If it takes artificial stimulation to make the President of the United States perform, how often can he do that?”
“Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida also called for Biden to be drug tested ahead of the debate,” the report revealed.
“We’re talking about someone who has the ability to launch nukes,” Luna commented. The Florida congresswoman then noted that questions concerning Biden’s cognitive abilities are the main reason House Republicans are looking into the audio recordings of his interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur. The White House has been trying to keep that from happening by claiming they have executive privilege over them.

Even former President Donald Trump has made a call for the drug test.
“I just want to debate this guy … and I’m going to demand a drug test too, by the way,” Trump went on to say during a rally held in the state of Minnesota last week. “I am. No, I really am.”
“I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union. He was high as a kite,” Trump continued. “I said, is that Joe up there? … And by the end of the evening … he was exhausted, right? No, we’re going to demand a drug test.”

North Carolina Republican Rep. Greg Murphy, a trained surgeon, stated a week ago that the president “must have been jacked up on something” during the SOTU.
“I absolutely believe that from a medical viewpoint, actually I have a little bit of good knowledge that that happened. He can’t stand it. He can’t stand under the lights for that long. And I don’t think he can keep a concept in his brain that long,” Murphy remarked on the topic.
