Jeff Bezos is the second-richest person on the planet.
But he is also one of the global elites who want to force Americans to eat bugs and drive Bidenmobiles.
And Ron DeSantis sent billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos into a fit of rage with this one new law.
Forbes recently found that 47 states are home to at least one billionaire.
Florida joined the list after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos left Washington State in 2023 and relocated to Miami to be closer to his parents and his Blue Origin space company’s rocket launches.
Bezos is worth $203 billion.
With no state income taxes, the move could help Bezos save over $600 million in taxes each year.
Even though Bezos is no longer the CEO of Amazon, he hasn’t stopped with his entrepreneurial pursuits.
He currently owns the Washington Post and Blue Origin space company.
But Bezos is running into issues with his recent investments.
Bidenmobile maker Rivian just announced a second round of massive layoffs for the year due to a drop in demand for EVs.
Bezos is the largest shareholder in Rivian after he invested $700 million to help the company get started.
But failed Bidenmobiles aren’t the only investment troubles facing Bezos.
Bezos is one of the global elites who want to force Americans to eat bugs and drive Bidenmobiles.
After moving to Florida, Bezos invested $60 million into producing “cultivated”, AKA lab-grown meats.
“Amazon boss and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, announced an initial $60 million funding to set up the Bezos Centers for Sustainable Protein – described as an effort to ‘reduce cost, increase quality and boost nutritional benefit of alternative proteins,” the Daily Mail reported.
Bezos made the investment in March.
But fast forward to May and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just signed a bill into law that bans lab-grown meat in the Sunshine State.
“Florida is taking action to stop the World Economic Forum’s goal of forcing the world to eat lab-grown meat and insects,” a press release from DeSantis’ office read. “While the World Economic Forum is telling the world to forgo meat consumption, Florida is increasing meat production, and encouraging residents to continue to consume and enjoy 100% real Florida beef.”
Of course, Bezos is a proud member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and supports its goal of forcing Americans to eat bugs.
But Ron DeSantis just poured cold water on his plans in Florida.
“Today, Florida is fighting back against the global elite’s plan to force the world to eat meat grown in a petri dish or bugs to achieve their authoritarian goals,” DeSantis said. “Our administration will continue to focus on investing in our local farmers and ranchers, and we will save our beef.”
At least for now, Floridians are safe from the global elites’ bugs and lab-grown meat thanks to Ron DeSantis.
